CIO | Cybersecurity, Risk Intelligence & Data-Driven Governance

I work directly with executive and leadership teams when risk, compliance, and security decisions shape long-term business outcomes

How I think

Risk becomes unmanageable when information is fragmented and decisions are made without shared context or accountability. When data is incomplete, disconnected, or poorly interpreted, leaders lose visibility into how threats, controls, and business priorities intersect, and small issues compound into systemic failures.

I approach cybersecurity, risk, and technology as intelligence and governance challenges first — and technical ones second. That means understanding what the data is actually telling us, translating risk into business-relevant terms, and making interdependencies visible before execution begins. Without reliable data and shared context, even well-intended decisions become reactive instead of strategic.

My work is guided by a simple principle: sound decisions require trustworthy data, disciplined interpretation, and accountability in action. I value clarity over urgency, context over assumptions, and sustainable progress over short-term fixes. I’m less concerned with perfect answers than with decisions that remain defensible over time — especially when uncertainty is high and the margin for error is small.

The principles that guide my work:

  • Data informs judgment

  • Shared context enables sound decisions

  • Decisions must remain defensible over time

Experience

I bring more than 15 years of experience working in complex, enterprise technology and cybersecurity environments where risk, compliance, and operational decisions carry real consequence. My background spans data protection, information security, and risk governance, with a consistent focus on helping organizations move from reactive response to intelligence-driven decision-making.

I’ve led large enterprise portfolios generating millions in recurring revenue while maintaining renewal rates in the mid-90% range by emphasizing disciplined governance, evidence-based insight, and sustained executive alignment. My work has included advising leadership teams on data loss prevention strategy, policy effectiveness, and security program maturity across modern enterprise security platforms.

Throughout my career, I’ve consistently served as the bridge between technical execution and executive decision-making. I’ve built governance models, analyzed incident and adoption data to surface risk patterns, and translated complex findings into clear, defensible recommendations that leaders can act on with confidence.

My experience is defined less by the tools I’ve managed and more by the decisions I’ve supported—ensuring that security, risk, and technology programs are aligned with business priorities, grounded in reliable data, and resilient under pressure.

Why I'm Here

I joined Bees Computing because I believe organizations need a better way to understand and manage risk—one that connects security, compliance, and data into a coherent decision framework. Bees’ focus on clarity, accountability, and intelligent growth aligns closely with how I approach leadership and problem-solving in complex environments.

At its core, Bees reflects how I believe this work should be done: advisory-first, grounded in reality, and accountable to outcomes. My role is to help ensure that technology and risk decisions are informed by reliable data, shared context, and disciplined governance. I focus on strengthening how organizations interpret information, understand interdependencies, and make decisions that remain defensible over time—translating strategy into execution without losing sight of long-term resilience.

How I Engage

I engage as an advisor first, with a focus on understanding the environment leaders are accountable for before proposing solutions. That means spending time upfront clarifying objectives, constraints, risk tolerance, and the quality of the data informing current decisions. Without that context, execution becomes guesswork.

I work closely with leadership teams to create shared understanding, establish decision structure, and maintain accountability as initiatives move forward. My approach emphasizes clear communication, disciplined governance, and ongoing evaluation—ensuring that strategy and execution remain aligned as conditions change.

Whether guiding risk assessments, shaping technology roadmaps, or supporting complex decisions, I engage with the expectation that progress is measured by clarity, resilience, and outcomes that hold up over time—not by activity alone.
